How I Started Taking These Pictures

I work nights and found myself not sleeping nights on my days off. About a year ago I was playing around with the computer in the early morning, playing games on facebook and surfing. That morning something caught my attention. There was this extreme orange glow coming in the window from the small opening I have in the top of the curtains. I generally block out the sun because I work nights and need some darkness to help me sleep during the day. Fortunately it doesn't have to be completely dark and the very top of the window allows in some light. As I noticed this extreme orange light filtering into my living room, I was enticed to look out the window and had my breath taken away by the beautiful sunrise I beheld. I looked at it for quite awhile before I thought to get my camera and preserve it for later viewing. I immediately uploaded the beautiful color and sunlight to my facebook friends and got wonderful feedback from them. This started a trend that I am still enjoying and looking forward to each week when I am off work. I have acquired quite a few awesome pictures. Hope everyone enjoys them.
